About Nordcar<\/h2>\n<p>Nordcar operates as a car rental platform in partnership with trusted car rental providers, travel agencies, tour operators, and local authorities across the Faroe Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Nordcar facilitates bookings and customer support while vehicle availability, maintenance, and delivery may be handled by our official partners.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Eligibility to Rent<\/h2>\n<p><strong>To rent a vehicle, you must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be at least 20 years old<\/li>\n<li>Hold a valid driver&#8217;s license for at least 1 year<\/li>\n<li>Present a valid ID or passport at pickup<\/li>\n<li>Meet any additional requirements set by the rental partner or local regulations. Additional fees or restrictions may apply for young or senior drivers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3. Bookings &amp; Payments<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.<\/li>\n<li>Payment methods accepted will be shown during checkout.<\/li>\n<li>A security deposit may be required at pickup and will be refunded according to the rental partner&#8217;s policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Vehicle Pickup &amp; Return<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Vehicles must be collected and returned at the agreed location and time.<\/li>\n<li>Late returns may result in additional charges.<\/li>\n<li>The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.<\/li>\n<li>Fuel policies (full-to-full or otherwise) will be specified in your booking confirmation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>5. Use of the Vehicle<\/h2>\n<p><strong>The renter agrees to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with local laws<\/li>\n<li>Not use the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, or off-road driving unless explicitly permitted<\/li>\n<li>Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>6. Insurance &amp; Liability<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic insurance coverage is included unless stated otherwise.<\/li>\n<li>Optional coverage may be available during booking.<\/li>\n<li>The renter may be held liable for damages, loss, theft, or negligence not covered by insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Details of coverage and excess amounts will be provided at checkout or upon vehicle pickup.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Cancellations &amp; Changes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Cancellation and modification policies depend on the selected rate and rental partner.<\/li>\n<li>Free cancellation may be available up to a specified time before pickup.<\/li>\n<li>Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific terms.<\/p>\n<h2>8.
